Oh Christmas tree Oh Christmas tree....

Well since we are living with my parents they are having to get a smaller tree so it can be put in a different room away from Grace.

Grace has to touch the tree for us to see if it is o.k. They are different then most things that she has been playing with so she is not really into it as you can see.

Hello Everyone.....
I know you all have been trying to get updates on everything and I promise to post as soon as I can figure out why I am not able to get pictures up. I didn't have a problem until about a week and a half ago. So Leah has showed me a way to get them to post now I just have to get it to work for me. It takes me a few tries to figure things out. So please do keep checking back and I will have some new posts SOON. ( fingers crossed! )

Ever heard the phrase "I had a list a mile long"???

WELL, I DO have a list that's a mile long. Actually, it's a receipt from Albertson's the other day. Chris and I went shopping and stocked up on about three week's worth of food. We had two carts FULL of food and had to stop because we had no more room in the carts.

That list goes about 3/4 of the way down the fridge!

At least it's not a "to do" list!!

Full of smiles

Grace is just so full of smiles for everyone! She was flashing sweet smiles for Leah and Desiree the other night while they were here for a girl's night. Mirinda was late and got spit-up on her face (serves her right for being late!) during a snuggle-fest, but Leah and Desiree got smiles!

She's such a happy, curious, and BUSY baby lately. We've been having so much fun with her. Recognize this picture from the updated blog banner?

The WEDDING Day

Well I am sorry that it has taken me so long to get on here and post some pictures of the wedding. I just have been so busy opening gifts and trying to find my house again. Thanks to all of you who came! It was the BEST day ever, and the rain made it better!

A lucky girl

We should have had Emily choose some lottery numbers for us or something on the wedding day. She had a lucky streak going on and we didn't take advantage of it.

First, she lost a tooth during dinner (and had to show everyone all it's bloody glory while they were eating)

Then, she caught the bouquet!

Even the binky can't hide her smile of happiness about getting to be one of mommy's pretty flower girls! If you look closely, you can see the silver flower before the word "girl" making up the "flower girl" shirt she got to wear at the rehearsal.

Wedding Day!

I am so sorry for the lack of posting, as most of you know Chris and I will be getting married in three days so I am really busy getting all the final things taken care of for that day.
I promise I will post pictures of the big day as soon as I can. I will have a guest blogger Leah helping me out since I am busy. ( Please be nice to me, Leah! )

Darn Bugs

I am sorry that I have not posted anything on the blog lately. We all have been sick. First Grace got it then we learned what being parents is all about, and yep you guessed it we got it too. So we are now five days later starting to recover! Wow I need to get use to this but really don't want on the other hand. I am glad things are getting back to normal cause I kind of have a wedding that needs me!

Please know that I will try my best to get back to posting.

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.

In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3 , Sports 5.0 , Free time 7.5 , and Golfing 3.6.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 , but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0 . Please help!

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING !!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0 .. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support . I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application 'Yes Dear' to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE! because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance . Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2 .

However, be very careful how you use these programs . Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5 .. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3 . This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system!

Big Girl Bath Time!

So I had to share these... She is really starting to love bath time and they are just WAY tooooo cute! This one I think is like my all time FAVORITE! ( well at least so far =) )

I can not wait to take her in the pool and see how she handles it... I bet it will be a blast!

On the past Sunday I was reading the paper and looking through ads as I normally do and when I was done reading I set it on the ground. No thinking about little Miss Grace getting into it. But WOW she was right on top on it.
I was not kidding... She was checking out sales too! Some she didn't think were too good and tossed them to the side...
Then is was back to checking everything out...
Finally she found on she like so Chris made it into a hat for her... lol
She then decided that a girl can never have to much she as mom as taught her she went back to shopping...

Gosh I knew boxes were great gifts for kids but DANG paper too! I know now that I no longer need to buy her toys!

Grace is SIX MONTHS OLD and Debra had her BABYSHOWER

Well yesterday Grace turned six months old and it was also the day that we had Debra's baby shower. Her and Doug are getting ready to welcome there baby boy into the world. We were so lucky to be able to add Debra to our family back in September now we are getting ready to welcome their first child! I am so excited for them both and I know Grace will be happy to have a cousin so close to her in age.

Lets just say he is no longer with us and I am SO SICK of waking up to them in the house. They are big and ugly! I am glad I have not found them in Grace's room.

I have been trying for awhile to get us in to get a family picture done but with all the wedding planning we have not had time. So I finally got a friend to take a picture when we were out on the 4th! I really am glad I got a picture!

See I told you it was CUTE!!! Now look at the difference since the last one we had taken........

Now a reminder it was six months ago... Sorry I am not looking at the camera I was a little out of it.....

June Girls Party

For the birthday's on Chris's side of the family they have a party once a month which is when the women and the kids get together and celebrate the birthday they had that month. This past party for for Jared who turned 4 and Connor who turned 2. ( sorry Leah no longer a baby! )
This is the fist one that I have been to that was outside and it was great to sit out in the sun and talk. We had GREAT weather that day , thank goodness!

This is Grace starting to work her way into being welcomed at the kids table. I know they would love to have her there now she is just not ready yet. Dont' worry it will not be long.
She had a blast playing in that with the new things to touch and see all around her. Plus then I got to eat and talk without holding her the whole time.

I wish the weather was always this nice so ALL the parties could be outside!

First Trip to the ZOO!!!

Grace had her first trip to the zoo a few days ago with her cousins Emily, Jared, and Connor. Leah and I decided to be daring and take the kids to the zoo after going to the mall. Honestly it went GREAT! Grace slept off and on at the zoo. Her favorite part I think was looking at the fish. I was not able to get a picture of her but you will have to trust me the eyes bugged out.
I told you she didn't see much of it... But she was a great traveler that day...
She did wake up for her food and to make sure the kids were still there. She loves watching them!
Don't look at me and notice we are sitting down in the shade having a bottle... She is watching everything and everyone around us....
You can not see Grace but she is doing the same thing the rest of them are! I think they were wore out but don't tell them so were Leah and myself! I think I need to get in better shape before she starts running around or I will never be able to keep up with her.

Happy Birthday Grandma Linda

For those of you who don't know my mother had a big party this weekend. It was a surprise party that we had worked on for months. When the big day came we were ready and it was great.
