What is that stuff?

So today Chris and I decided we were going to start trying to get Grace into eating her baby food. We decided that we would start with her rice cereal since she is getting that with her bottle already and it won't taste different. Then we also decided that we were going to try some banana's since she loved the cereal so much.

Brag Time!

So today she is 12 weeks old. Wow I can not believe it has been that long. It really doesn't feel like it. Yesterday when I gave her a bottle she decided she wanted to make sure that HER bottle was not going anywhere. So she grabbed onto it and held it until she finished it. I am so proud of my baby girl downing the bottles and holding on to them. She even did it today when Chris gave her a bottle at church. Pretty soon she will be sitting up with us at the table. NOW THAT JUST SEEMS SO ODD!

Going to the chapel and we're gonna get MARRIED!!

So for those of you that have not heard Chris and I are getting married. We have set the date so let all the fun begin, that is for me. =) We are getting married in Tacoma @ the Landmark Convention Center on August 24, 2008.

My mom and I went dress shopping today and that is when it really hit me that I am really getting married. I felt like such a little kid I was all happy and SHOCKED. Wow me in the white dress and not in a bridesmaid dress. It was fun and now I have a lot more shopping to do, still need to decide which one I love!!! TOO MANY CHOICES!!

Chris is being great with all the planning. I am not sure if he really cares about the plans or if he is just pretending but he is being a great sport. Thanks Babe!

I still have a lot to do but I have only been planning since April Fools day when I got my ring.....
Better get back to planning!!!!

MS Walk

As most of you know yesterday was the MS walk. It was five miles at the Point Defiance Zoo, the weather could not have been any better for it. We REALLY lucked out on that one. I was worried that I was going to need to talk myself through the last mile, I just had a kid and have not gotten into shape again. But as most of you know women are great at talking and we talked so much that we didn't even know we were almost done. We started our walk a little before nine and got done a little after ten. We figured that it took us about an hour and thirty minutes to walk it. This was my first year doing it and it was great I can not wait to do it again. Thanks Leah and Aunt Marlee for letting me join you. Also thank you to all of you who donated I raised 280.00 this year and hope to double that next year...... =)

Bounce Bounce....

Well yesterday I cleaned out her room and declared it was time to put her bouncy together to see how she handled being in it. After Chris put it together taking longer then he should have cause he wanted to do it without reading the instructions, we tried it out. We put her in it at first in front on the TV not thinking about it, but she loved being able to see the TV better. She watched the bright lights and then chewed on the edge of the seat. She LOVES being in it. Grace seems to do very well, she hits the music/lights and stares at them. No she doesn't know she is turning it on but heck she is enjoying it and I am not having to carry her while she is in it, so I am happy. ( Great Grandma Jackie she is a smart one! )

Those things keep moving!!!

While I was cooking dinner last night Grace was sitting in her bouncy chair watching me. I was also watching her! =) She was so cute looking at her hands and feet. So confused about them and what they were doing. She would move one foot then the other. She was kicking them and then oh the hands moved too!! Wish you all could have seen it!!

See I told you she was being cute, not like she isn't always!!!

For those of you that didn't know Chris and I got a new baby and I am not talking about Grace this time. We bought a new car, it is mine though! We really wanted one that I felt safer in and one that Chris didn't worry about her and I breaking down in. Sorry to inform you all but I don't know how to fix cars so I would have to call someone. He doesn't want that phone call and figures that he would be able to fix it if he was driving it so now he is driving that car. I LOVE my new car. It is bigger, nicer, safer, and so sweet to be in. Plus we will be able to pack up and go camping or what not a lot easier in this car then my other on. We bought a 2005 Honda CRV SE!!! It only had 27000 miles on it when we got it. It has everything we could want in a car!

Sleeping Angel

Last night Grace went to bed at about 8 when she normally goes down for the night at about 10-11 and I was so worried that she was going to wake up and be up all night. We put her in her crib since we were going to eat and thought it was going to be one of those thirty minute naps. But at 11:30 she was still asleep so we decided to go to bed and we would just turn on the monitor so we could listen to her. But that wasn't enough we had to go and keep checking on her. Touching her to make sure she was still alive. Finally we both feel asleep, but I woke up at about 5am in a panic cause she had not woke up yet. Normally she sleep about 6-7 hours before waking up, so at nine hours I was TOTALLY SHOCKED. So I went into her room and had to check on her. Yep, she was still breathing so back to bed I went. Until about 6:15 when she woke up. Wow that actually made me feel good to have her wake up. We changed a diaper that was more then ready for a change and had a bottle then back to sleep she went. We had to wake up about 8 so that we could get ready for church. Wow my little angel was wore out. I guess her day with Leah and myself shopping for beds just made her want to sleep. I will have to try that more often.

Almost Ten weks old......

Grace is growing and changing so fast that I can not even keep up with it all I am so shocked when I look back at pictures of when she was born. My little girl is growing up so fast!! I know I know trust me the big things have not even started yet... Wow this is going to be an emotional roller coaster. I am way to emotional to being going down this road I need to freeze her as she is now....



I know I have a lot of great times a head of me that I don't even know about I am just loving my little angel. She looks at me with such love in her eyes and I just want to remember that forever. Grace will have a great life I know that!
